Registered Nurse (RN)

A leading nursing and home care service provider in Toronto is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a Long Term Care setting, providing critical care and support to our residents. Position Details

• Salary: $60–$65 per hour
• Job Type: Full-time, Casual
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, including day, evening, and night rotations. Overtime opportunities available.

Role Responsibilities

• Acting as a Charge Nurse, overseeing the nursing care of residents within the Long Term Care facility.
• Administering medications, conducting assessments, and ensuring the highest levels of patient safety and care.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date charting and documentation.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place and followed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. While preferred, candidates eligible for registration may also be considered.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in a Long Term Care setting or similar environment preferred.
• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate in Nursing or related field is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
